browse the web with your android powered e-reader

This is the Alex E-reader. Featuring 2 screens, 1 for reading and one for browsing. Seems like these people do understand you just can't read books on a LCD (no, not even if it's sold by apple ;-)

This is what I was looking for, an E-reader with a E-ink screen so it's easy on the eyes, but also a
full color 3.5” touchscreen LCD screen ideal for web browsing. The 6” EPD screen displays like a printed page and text is adjustable for easy extended reading.

What's even more interesting, the device is 3G enabled, making it possible to download content on the go.
It is equipped with WiFi, 3G, EVDO/CDMA and GSM, making it the first truly mobile wireless e-reader device that gives you access to the Internet and your own personalized library, whenever and wherever you need it.

If there will be anything I will be carrying on public transport for entertainment it will be this little friend. As it gives the ability to watch movies, news clips, or any MP4 or Flash videos on the 16-bit color screen. Listen to music, news broadcasts and lectures using the built-in MP3 media player. It has build in speakers and earphone connector.

And maybe even better: It's android powered, not some closed source, closed content, proprietary OS.
It is an open platform and welcomes developers to build custom applications. A device to my heart.
And with a battery life of up to 2 weeks it can even be labeled relatively green.

I guess I know what will be on top of my wish list for the coming months ;-)
