For this special function, They would use from scratch. So there's no unused module that bloat the OS.

Nice bike. The Web site doesn't say what distro -- off the shelf or modified -- this bike runs. Any idea?

I think it's something specially build. They will be releasing the OS in april. I don't know if it's based on a general distribution, but my guess is it's build from scratch.
