Cool Linux keyboard, X86 hardware ultimate geek sound machine

I'm not really a music lover, but would I have been an artist it would surely be my choice:

A keyboard running Linux on common hardware, at least the operating system.
This is really a very Cool device.

I'm not into music at all although I've always felt a strange attraction to synthesizers. Probably because of all the knobs and buttons. Well it is almost a computer most of the time isn't it? Well this one isn't almost a computer. It's a full PC combined with a professional grade synthesizer. If this isn't a cool toy then what is?

Too bad it's much to expensive, although I've seen them used for about 1300 bucks.

The hardware is similar to a standard PC:

2.8 GHz Pentium 4
40 GB hard disk
1 GB Ram (expandable 2GB)
10.4" LCD touch screen

My bet is this thing is at least partly build on common hardware, which could mean it has some upgradeability/hackability. If it ever comes down to a scrap price I'll be waiting in Line to get my hands on one.
