By default Ubuntu leaves out the compiz settings manager. This utility allows allows you to tweak all the settings avaiable in compiz.
use apt-get on the command line or start menu - add/remove programs
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
or search for it in the package manager and install it from there.
or just get it here: http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/compizconfig-settings-manager
you can just execute a .deb package in ubuntu. It's similar to .msi in windows only in ubuntu/Debian almost all software is available this way.
That’s it.
