If you have no clue what the title is about:

The story is about encrypting the part of your disk where you keep personal data, keeping the key to the encryption on a flash disk (usb stick). And if you have it inserted while logging in it will automatically decrypt the disk! If not you get a normal home partition where you shouldn't keep any sensitive data.
Great tutorial.

Canon EOS 400D and Linux

I was all excited when my new Canon EOS 400D landed in my hands today. I think that it’s a great piece of equipment, although I haven’t yet played around with it enough.

I thought I needed to buy a separate cable to computer-control it, and the USB cable was only a data transfer cable.
